Permission Granted for 168 New Trucks to Transport Cement in Barmana, Baga, and Dadlaghat

Ex-Servicemen to Deploy New Trucks in Three Himachal Cement Factories

Ex-servicemen in Himachal Pradesh will soon be able to deploy new trucks in three major cement factories – Barmana, Baga, and Dadlaghat. The Ex-Servicemen Corporation has granted approval for this. The ex-servicemen must attach their trucks to the factories within two months. If they fail to do so, they will need to obtain permission again.

Currently, 1,762 trucks operated by ex-servicemen are transporting cement in these factories. However, there is a shortage of 168 trucks, which the corporation has now approved to fill with new trucks.

Truck Condition: Older trucks can also be attached, but they must be 2015 models or newer. Trucks older than ten years will not be allowed. At present, Barmana has 1,409 trucks, Baga has 126, and Dadlaghat has 227 attached.

Himachal Pradesh’s cement factories prioritize employment for general citizens while also ensuring opportunities for ex-servicemen. Ex-servicemen across the state can apply to attach their trucks to any factory.

According to PS Atri, CMD of Ex-Servicemen Corporation, Hamirpur, permission has been granted to deploy 168 trucks based on the factories’ demand.
