Himachal: Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu Meets Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, Discusses Various Issues

Himachal Pradesh: On Wednesday morning, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu paid a courtesy visit to Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at Raj Bhavan. During the meeting, the leaders discussed various issues concerning the state.

After the visit, CM Sukhu inaugurated Himachal Haat, an initiative by Him-Era, near Lift Parking in Shimla. Speaking to the media, he stated that for the first time, food vans have been made available to women at Him-Era, and 60 more vans will be provided this year. He also mentioned that following the Delhi incident, officials have been directed to take necessary security precautions. Sukhu further added that a ceremony will be held on December 11 to mark the completion of three years of the state government.

The CM also took a dig at Opposition Leader Jairam Thakur, stating that the BJP is currently divided into five factions. He highlighted that through the auction of liquor shops, the current government earned ₹600 crore in a year, while the previous BJP government earned only ₹400 crore in four years.

Additionally, CM Sukhu paid tribute to the great freedom fighter and educationist, Madan Mohan Malaviya, on his death anniversary. He praised Malaviya’s dedication to the bright future of the nation’s youth and said the Himachal government is committed to adopting his ideals to build an educated, aware, and responsible society.
