Jairam Thakur Levels Serious Allegations Against CM Sukhu and Minister Jagat Singh Negi
In Mandi, Leader of Opposition and former CM Jairam Thakur accused Chief Minister Sukhu of losing his political ground in Hamirpur. Jairam alleged that CM Sukhu is preparing to contest elections from another constituency as he has not contributed even a single penny to Hamirpur. He also mocked the CM’s statement in Mandi, where Sukhu called the region his “home” and promised a wave of development.
Jairam stated that during the past three years, the CM stalled development work, closed institutions, and now lacks acceptance even within his own party.
Jairam also accused Cabinet Minister Jagat Singh Negi of rampant corruption in his departments and attempting to manipulate disaster relief funds. He clarified that donations were directly provided to affected people, calling the allegations baseless.
BJP spokesperson Baldev Tomar condemned Jagat Singh Negi’s offensive remarks, warning that if Congress fails to rein in such statements, the public will give them a strong response in the upcoming elections.
