Chill Intensifies in Himachal: Minimum Temperature Below 10°C at 19 Places
Himachal Pradesh has been experiencing dry weather in recent days, but the chill is steadily increasing. The state recorded the coldest night of the recent season. Minimum temperatures fell below 10°C at 19 locations, with three places recording sub-zero temperatures. Solan, Kangra, Hamirpur, and Mandi recorded lower minimums than Shimla. Today, sunshine was seen in the state capital Shimla and other areas.
Weather Forecast:
According to the Shimla Meteorological Center, clear weather is expected across the state until 16th November. Moderate fog was reported in Sundernagar and Bilaspur. In Shimla, the minimum temperature dropped to 8.8°C in the morning. Over the next 4-5 days, temperatures are expected to remain largely stable.
Tourism Revives in Kullu:
Tourism in Kullu district is bouncing back after the disaster earlier this year. More than 300 rafts are taking tourists on daily rafting adventures in the Beas River’s three main stretches. This revival is not only bringing joy to tourists but also providing employment opportunities for local youth.
