Massive Fire in Jhaniyar Village, Kullu; Around a Dozen Houses Burnt to Ashes
A devastating fire broke out in Jhaniyar village under Nohanda Panchayat of Banjar subdivision in Kullu district on Saturday afternoon. The blaze spread rapidly, engulfing the entire village within a short time. According to initial reports, around 10 to 12 houses, cowsheds, and hay storage structures have been completely destroyed.
The fire is still raging, and local residents, along with people from nearby villages, are making efforts to bring it under control. Due to the village’s remote location, fire brigade teams have not yet been able to reach the site. The incident has caused panic and chaos throughout the village, and administrative teams have been alerted to initiate relief operations.
