Atul Maheshwari Scholarship Exam 2025: 543 Students Appeared Across 10 Centers in Himachal, Students Showed Great Enthusiasm
The first phase of the Atul Maheshwari Scholarship Examination 2025 was successfully conducted on Sunday across 69 centers in 61 cities nationwide. More than 35,000 students from classes 9 to 12 participated in the examination. In Himachal Pradesh, the exam was held at 10 centers across 9 districts, with a total of 543 students appearing.
District-wise participation included 99 students in Una, 91 in Hamirpur, 72 in Dharamshala, 70 each in Shimla and Nahan, 59 in Solan, 34 in Mandi, 24 in Rampur, 21 in Chamba, and 3 in Kullu. The second phase of the exam will be held on November 16 in Bilaspur district, where 264 students have registered.
The exam took place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and students showed great enthusiasm. Many reached the centers early, forming long queues up to a kilometer in some places. Police assistance was sought at several centers to maintain order. Compared to last year, students showed greater excitement and preparation this time. The written exam was conducted on OMR sheets in two shifts.
Visually impaired students also showcased their determination. In Banda, several such students appeared with their writers. One of them, Abhyaraj, said the paper went well and such exams motivate them to move forward.
The examination was organized in various cities across India, including Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur, Dharamshala, Mandi, Una, Hamirpur, Chamba, Kullu, Rampur, Agra, Aligarh, Dehradun, Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Haridwar, Chandigarh, Karnal, Gurugram, Meerut, Prayagraj, and Jammu among others.
