Himachal Pradesh Turns Dry: 86% Below Normal Rainfall in First 15 Days of November, Temperatures Continue to Drop
Weather conditions in Himachal Pradesh have remained consistently dry. During the first 15 days of November, the state recorded 86% below normal rainfall. Sirmaur witnessed the worst scenario with a 100% deficit, while Mandi and Shimla observed 99% less rainfall.
On Saturday, the weather remained clear across most regions including the capital Shimla, though cold conditions intensified during morning and evening hours. Minimum temperature has been continuously falling at several locations.
A total of 27 places recorded minimum temperatures below 10°C, while Keylong, Kukumseri and Tabo reported sub-zero temperatures.
Weather to Remain Clear for Several Days
According to the Meteorological Centre, Shimla, the weather will remain clear across the state till 21 November. There is no possibility of rain or snowfall. No major change is expected in minimum and maximum temperatures over the next 4–5 days.
