Severe Fire in Kuhand Village, Chamba; House and Livestock Fodder Destroyed
A severe fire broke out in the two-room house of Ramesh Kumar in Kuhand village, Panchayat Manjhli, Salooni subdivision, Chamba district. The fire spread rapidly, reducing the entire house to ashes. Around 1,000 bundles of fodder stored for livestock were also destroyed in the blaze.
Police and fire brigade teams rushed to the site and are working to bring the fire under control. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined. Relief and rescue operations are ongoing.
SDM Salooni, Chandraveer Singh, stated that the teams were immediately dispatched to the site as soon as the information was received.
