HRTC Bus Accident in Mandi, Driver Among Several Injured
After the Sirmaur district, another bus accident has occurred in Himachal Pradesh. An HRTC bus traveling from Goharbata to Sarkaghat met with an accident near Havani in Mandi district at around 8:00 am on Saturday. Approximately 15 passengers were onboard at the time of the incident.
According to information, the bus driver sustained serious injuries, while a few passengers suffered minor injuries. Most of the passengers are reported to be safe. The exact cause of the accident has not yet been determined.
Reports indicate that the bus lost control and rolled off the road into a nearby field. Upon receiving information about the accident, local residents rushed to the spot and immediately started rescue and relief operations. All injured passengers were rescued from the bus and taken to the nearest hospital in private vehicles.
DSP Sarkaghat Sanjeev Gautam stated that the police are investigating the cause of the accident. The injured have been shifted to Sarkaghat for medical treatment.
