Kullu/Bir: Two separate paragliding accidents in Himachal Pradesh have left two individuals seriously injured.

At the Garsa paragliding site on December 27, a tourist, Divya Prajapati (23) from Mumbai, fell from a height of approximately 70 feet during a tandem flight. After receiving initial treatment, he was referred to PGI Chandigarh due to severe injuries. The paragliding pilot remained safe. Police have registered a case against the pilot at Bhuntar police station, and the district tourism department has issued a notice to the site operator seeking a report on the incident.

Meanwhile, at the world-famous Bir Billing site, 28-year-old pilot Sunil Kumar met with an accident while assisting another pilot during a tandem flight. His hand got caught in the paraglider rope, causing him to fall onto a hillside and hit a tree. He was also referred to PGI Chandigarh due to serious injuries.
