Series of Murders Continues in Kullu, Three Killings in Four Days Raise Alarm
A wave of murders has gripped Kullu district in Himachal Pradesh, with three homicide cases reported within the last four days, triggering panic in the Dev Bhoomi region. The latest two incidents have been reported from Patlikuhal and Sainj police station areas, posing a serious challenge to local administration and law enforcement agencies.
In Patlikuhal, a violent altercation between two Nepali nationals turned fatal, resulting in the brutal death of one person. According to preliminary information, a dispute escalated into a physical fight, leading to the tragic incident.
Meanwhile, another fatal incident occurred in the Sainj police station area, where a person succumbed to injuries sustained during a clash. The case reportedly dates back to January 4, when the victim was injured and later died during treatment.
The spate of killings has caused widespread concern among residents. Police have registered FIRs in both cases and initiated detailed investigations.
Kullu Superintendent of Police Madan Lal Kaushal stated that prompt action was taken in both incidents, leading to the arrest of two accused in each case. The arrested individuals are being interrogated to uncover the complete sequence of events and the motive behind the crimes.
