LPG Cylinder Prices Hike in Himachal, Domestic Cylinder in Shimla Now ₹1,015
Shimla: Amid the Iran-Israel conflict, LPG cylinder prices have increased in Himachal Pradesh. The price of a 14.2 kg domestic cylinder has now crossed ₹1,000. The new rates came into effect from Saturday. Commercial cylinders have also seen a price rise, with costs varying across cities due to added delivery charges.
Rates in Shimla:
- Domestic Cylinder: ₹1,015 (₹60 increase)
- Commercial Cylinder: ₹2,097 (₹137 increase)
Rates in Bilaspur:
- Domestic Cylinder: ₹948.50 (₹60 increase)
- Commercial Cylinder: ₹1,999.50 (₹114.50 increase)
Rates in Dharamshala:
- Domestic Cylinder: ₹965 (previously ₹905)
- Commercial Cylinder: ₹2,011 (previously ₹1,868.50)
Rates in Kullu:
- Domestic Cylinder: ₹980.35
- Commercial Cylinder: ₹2,009.10 (₹114 increase)
Rates in Mandi:
- Domestic Cylinder: ₹1,013 (previously ₹953)
Mohammed Amin, Chief of LPG Sales for Indian Oil in the region, said the price hike is due to rising tensions in West Asia affecting crude oil supply. However, petrol and diesel prices remain unchanged, and supply is running smoothly.
