AIIMS Bilaspur Announces Final Faculty Recruitment Results, Positions Filled Across Departments
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bilaspur has announced the final results for faculty recruitment across various departments. According to the official notification, the selection process has been completed after interviews for the posts of Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. Joining letters are now being issued to the selected candidates.
AIIMS Bilaspur had invited applications for a total of 83 faculty positions, with the last date for online applications set as January 15. Eligible candidates were interviewed on February 16 and 17. The final results were released following recommendations from the permanent selection committee and approval by the institute’s HR sub-committee.
The results indicate that positions have been filled across multiple departments:
- Assistant Professor positions filled in Surgical Oncology, Radiology, Neurology, and Nephrology.
- Additional Professor positions filled in Neonatology, Transfusion Medicine & Blood Bank, and Ophthalmology.
- Two Assistant Professor positions filled in Trauma & Emergency.
- Forensic Medicine & Toxicology filled one Additional and one Associate Professor position.
- In Orthopedics, an Additional Professor post was downgraded to Assistant Professor (contract), and one Associate Professor position was filled.
- In Anesthesiology, one Professor and five Assistant Professor positions were filled.
Some positions remain vacant. Prior to appointment, all candidates’ academic certificates and other necessary documents will be verified.
