HimCare Card Holders Must Renew; Portal Open Until March 31
The Himachal Pradesh government has opened the portal for issuing new HimCare cards and renewing existing ones under the HimCare scheme. Beneficiaries are advised to complete the renewal on time. The portal will remain open until March 31; after that, they will have to wait for two months to apply for new cards or renewals.
Since January 1, 2019, a total of 13,70,910 HimCare cards have been issued in the state. Most of these cards are due for renewal. According to the government’s new schedule, new cards can be issued and renewals can be done only in four months of the year—March, June, September, and December.

Dharmpal Rana, District Coordinator of Ayushman Bharat, said that beneficiaries can use this period to apply for a new card or renew their existing HimCare card.
