Punjab Kings Begin Practice in Dharamshala Ahead of IPL 2026
Ahead of the start of IPL 2026, Punjab Kings began their practice session on Thursday at the International Cricket Stadium in Dharamshala. This is the team’s second home ground. Nestled in the Dhauladhar hills, the team’s six-day practice session will continue until March 10.
The players took the field around 12 PM for warm-ups and the start of the session. The camp included players such as Prabhsimran Singh, Praveen Dubey, Harpreet Brar, Harnur, Vishnu Vinod, and Vishal Nishad. Prabhsimran Singh focused on batting practice while the bowlers sweated it out in the nets.
Talented net bowlers from various states also challenged the players during the sessions. According to sources, other team members, including Shashank Singh and Badera, are expected to join in the next one or two days, which will intensify the practice further.
HPCA Secretary Manuj Sharma stated that Punjab Kings will stay in Dharamshala until March 10 to finalize their preparations. IPL 2026 is set to begin on March 28, though the exact number of matches to be played in Dharamshala this year has not yet been confirmed.
