Teacher Accused of Misconduct with Student in Sainj Area, FIR Registered Under POCSO Act
In the Sainj area of Kullu, a serious case has emerged involving a teacher and a student. A teacher has been accused of inappropriate conduct with a schoolgirl from his class. The accused reportedly called the student to his room while sending two other girls to the kitchen.
According to a complaint submitted by the school principal, on February 19, the teacher called three students to his room without informing senior authorities or staff. He allegedly forced one student to iron clothes and then misbehaved with her, while threatening all three girls not to disclose the incident.
The matter has sparked widespread discussions in the area, with demands for strict action against the accused. Police Superintendent Madan Lal Kaushal stated that an FIR has been registered under the POCSO Act, and the investigation is underway, with action to be taken as per law.
