Three Arrested with 4.24 Grams of Chitta and 3.1 Grams of Charas in Chamba
In the Sihunta area of Chamba district, Himachal Pradesh, police arrested three individuals during a late-night naka (checkpoint) operation and recovered 4.24 grams of chitta and 3.1 grams of charas from their possession.
According to police sources, multiple checkpoints were set up at different locations in the area last night. During the operation, the suspects were intercepted based on suspicious movements. Upon search, the banned narcotic substances were recovered.
The accused have been identified as Vikas Kumar (resident of Kamla), Rakesh Kumar (resident of Tentha), and Abhishek Kumar (resident of Sihunta). A case has been registered against them, and further investigation is underway.
The incident was confirmed by Superintendent of Police Vijay Saklani.
