Paonta Sahib: Deputy Tehsildar and Staff Face Action for Traveling Out of State on Sick Leave
In Paonta Sahib subdivision, Sirmaur district, the Deputy Tehsildar of Majra Tehsil and six of his staff have come under scrutiny for traveling to another state while on sick leave. SDM Gunjit Singh Cheema has issued a notice to the Deputy Tehsildar, seeking an explanation.
According to reports, the Deputy Tehsildar had taken leave citing personal illness but went on a trip with six staff members. Additionally, the office is investigating the unauthorized granting of leave to more than six employees at the same time. The notice has caused a stir among the office staff.
The SDM emphasized that employees are required to remain at their designated workplace during leave and violations of such rules will be treated seriously.
