South Indian Film Shooting Begins in Manali; Nagarjuna to Join Next Month
Manali/Kullu: Patlikuhal’s Awasthi Complex, located between Manali and Kullu, is currently abuzz with cinematic activity as the shooting of a South Indian film has commenced. The sound of “lights, camera, action” echoes across the region, creating excitement among locals.
An important childhood sequence of South superstar Nagarjuna is being filmed at the location. The scene features a child actor portraying a young boy selling gifts, forming an emotional segment of the storyline. The production team has meticulously designed the set to ensure authenticity and visual impact.
Abhinav Awasthi, operator of the complex, stated that the shooting has officially begun and it is a matter of pride for the region that major production houses are choosing this location. He confirmed that Nagarjuna himself is expected to arrive in Manali next month for further filming.
Local coordinator Anil Kayastha said that film shooting activities in Manali and nearby areas have picked up pace once again. He also revealed that Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan is scheduled to visit Manali next month for a separate shoot, which is likely to boost local tourism and business.
