Himachal Pradesh: Devendra Singh Rana Gives Important Advice to Students Before 10th–12th Board Exams
Shimla, Himachal Pradesh – The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education will conduct the annual examinations for 10th and 12th grades from March 3. Before the exams begin, Devendra Singh Rana, an English teacher posted at Government Senior Secondary School Rakkar, provided important guidance and precautions for students preparing for the exams.
Rana said that students should study with a calm and composed mind and should not let any kind of psychological pressure affect them. He emphasized preparing all subjects with discipline and well-organized time management.
The teacher noted that the 12th board exam lays the foundation for future competitive exams, so hard work along with logical thinking is essential. Specifically, regarding the English subject, he advised students to first understand the structure and format of the question paper and prepare accordingly, and during the exam, to attempt each section in order of priority.
Key instructions given by Rana are as follows:
- First, solve the sections in which students are most confident, such as Section D, which is based on textbook questions.
- While writing answers, pay attention to proper length and subject-appropriate sentence structure.
- Use correct technical knowledge and logical reasoning in written, comprehension, note-making, and grammar-related sections.
- Manage time during exams according to the sections.
The teacher also requested students to practice with a calm mind and have full confidence in their preparation, which will help them perform better in the exams.
