Shimla: Tourist’s Bag Lost at The Ridge with ₹15,000 Cash, Recovered by Police Within Hours
Shimla: A tourist from Tamil Nadu visiting Shimla lost his bag at The Ridge, containing ₹15,000 cash and some important documents. Acting promptly on the complaint, Shimla Police recovered the bag within a few hours and returned it safely to the tourist.
According to reports, on February 20, the tourist informed the Police Reporting Room at Mall Road, Shimla, about the missing bag at The Ridge. The police team immediately reached the area and began a search using nearby CCTV cameras.
SSP Shimla Gaurav Singh stated that Mall Road and The Ridge are major tourist attractions for both domestic and international visitors, attracting thousands of people daily. Control room police personnel stationed in the area remain vigilant, providing assistance to tourists and the public while maintaining law and order.
