Himachal: Commission Releases Recommendation List for Assistant District Attorney (Trainee) Posts, 7 Vacant
Shimla – The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission has recommended the appointment of candidates for 16 out of 23 advertised Assistant District Attorney (Trainee) posts. Seven posts remain vacant across different categories. The appointments will be made under the Home (Prosecution) Department, Himachal Pradesh.
The commission had notified 23 posts on March 17, 2025, including unreserved, SC, ST, OBC, EWS, ex-servicemen, and visually impaired categories. The screening and subject aptitude tests were conducted on October 7, 2025, and results were declared on January 15, 2026. The personality test was conducted from February 17 to 19, 2026, with 54 candidates participating.
The vacant posts include 1 UR (Visually Impaired), 5 UR (Ex-Servicemen backlog), and 1 SC (Ex-Servicemen). Recommendations for other categories have been made as per the advertised posts.
The merit list issued by the commission includes candidates such as Ekta Garg, Neha Sharma, Meera, Aditya Sharma, Bhavna Thakur, Shreya, Shivani Azad, Naini Chaudhary, Desh Deepak Yatri, Kalpana, Kumari Sandipna, Skand Thakur, Naveen Kaushal, Amandeep Gautam, Kiran Bala, and Aditi Sharma.
