Sandeepani Bhardwaj Hits Back: CM Sukhu Misleading Public, BJP Blames Congress’ Corrupt Policies
Himachal Pradesh BJP spokesperson Sandeepani Bhardwaj launched a sharp attack on Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, accusing him of misleading the public over the cessation of the Revenue Deficit Grant (RDG) and blaming the central government for the state’s financial difficulties. Bhardwaj said that the real reason behind Himachal’s economic woes is the Congress government’s corrupt, inefficient, and loot-driven policies.
She alleged that the funds sent by the central government, worth thousands of crores, were misused by the Congress administration. Instead of being spent on developmental works, the money was routed into the state treasury after obtaining forced Utilization Certificates (UCs) from various departments, and used primarily for salaries, administrative expenses, and political purposes. Bhardwaj added that CM Sukhu is more concerned about protecting his chair and Congress leaders’ interests rather than the development of Himachal.
The BJP spokesperson challenged the Congress government to release a white paper detailing the actual utilization of funds received from the center. She warned that the people of Himachal will no longer accept the party’s excuses or false allegations, and BJP will fight against Congress’ corruption and financial mismanagement from the streets to the assembly.
