Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu visited Barthin market in Jhanduta Assembly constituency of Bilaspur district on Thursday. The Chief Minister was accorded a warm welcome by Congress leaders and workers. During the visit, he inaugurated and laid foundation stones of several development projects worth crores of rupees.
The projects include the inauguration of the administrative building of Param Vir Chakra Naib Subedar Sanjay Kumar Government Polytechnic Institute, Kalol, upgradation of the Barthin–Shahtalai road, implementation of the sewerage project in Shahtalai municipal area, and beautification of Charan Ganga at Shahtalai. These projects are expected to strengthen infrastructure and provide improved civic amenities to the local residents.
