Ajay Tamta Inspects Kiratpur-Manali Highway, Vows Zero Tolerance for Construction Negligence
Union Minister of State for Road Transport and Highways Ajay Tamta inspected the Kiratpur-Manali national highway on Sunday, assessing the damage caused by heavy rains. He assured that no negligence in road construction would be tolerated and the highway will be fully restored by September 20. He also visited the damaged flyover at Jhalogi and directed officials to expedite repair work.
Opposition leader Jairam Thakur, senior NHIAI officials, and DC Mandi Apoorv Devgan were present during the inspection. Tamta also interacted with locals to hear their concerns.
