Bilaspur: During the first counseling session for the MBBS batch-2025 at AIIMS Bilaspur, a female candidate was found carrying fake documents. The AIIMS administration verified the documents and found them to be forged. Upon a complaint by the AIIMS authorities, Bilaspur Sadar police registered an FIR and conducted a strict interrogation of the accused woman.
In the initial questioning, the accused, Ankita Bharti, admitted to tampering with her rank card and allotment letter. The police have registered a case under Section 318(4) of the Indian Penal Code. Ankita Bharti is a resident of Ward-28, Naya Bazaar, Kushwaha Market, Lakhisarai district, Bihar.
