Kangra News: Three arrested for attempting theft from ATM in Kangra, all aged between 19 to 26.

The police have tracked down the culprits who recently attempted to steal from the Central Bank of India's ATM at Nehru Chowk. The three suspects hail from the nearby village of Kohala, with one of them working as a painter. Kangra Police have arrested all three individuals involved in the theft attempt. DSP Ankit Sharma reported that the suspects attempted the theft around 2 AM on July 12 but failed to steal any money.

The suspects fled the scene when the ATM alarm went off. Following the incident, the police registered an FIR under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and launched a search for the suspects. The Kangra police team, after diligent efforts, apprehended all three suspects. They have been identified as 24-year-old Akshay, 26-year-old Sahil, and 19-year-old Nikhil, all residents of Kohala village in Kangra. Akshay is a painter by profession, while the other two are unemployed. The trio had planned to steal money from the ATM and then share the loot before going on a trip. All three suspects have been arrested and will be presented in court.
