Himachal Pradesh Weather Alert: Continuous Rain and Snow for Next Five Days, Heatwave Yellow Alert in Kangra and Mandi
Several parts of Himachal Pradesh are expected to experience continuous rain and snowfall over the next five days. Today, light rain and snow are likely in some areas of Lahaul-Spiti, while a few places in Chamba and Kangra may see light rain. Meanwhile, the capital Shimla and surrounding areas are experiencing sunny weather.
A yellow heatwave alert has been issued for Kangra, Kullu, Mandi, and Solan districts on March 9 and 10.

Weather Forecast (March 9-15):
- March 9, 10, 13: Light rain and snow at higher altitudes.
- March 11, 12, 14: Rain and snow in upper-mid regions; light rain in lower/plain areas.
- March 15: Rain in some lower hills; light rain and snow in middle and higher hill regions.
No significant change in temperature is expected over the next two days. However, in the following 2-3 days, minimum temperatures are expected to drop by 3-5°C and maximum temperatures by 3-6°C gradually.
