Manali: Jharkhand Former CM Champai Soren’s Grandson Veer Soren Dies Under Suspicious Circumstances at Homestay
In Manali, Veer Soren, 22-year-old grandson of former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren and son of Babulal Soren, died under suspicious circumstances at a homestay. On Monday afternoon, Veer Soren reportedly fell from his bed. While being taken to the hospital, foam was seen coming out of his mouth. Doctors declared him dead upon arrival at the hospital.
According to the police, Veer Soren had come to Manali on February 22 with his friend Agnaye Verma from Uttar Pradesh and was staying at a homestay in Simsa. On February 23, they visited Solang and Sethan before returning to the homestay in the evening. On Monday, around 12:30 PM, after returning, Veer Soren went to sleep. When awakened, he complained of severe headache, and his friends gave him medicine through a blanket.
Around 2:30 PM, a noise of a fall was heard from the room. He was immediately taken to Civil Hospital, Manali, but despite CPR and treatment, doctors declared him dead. DSP K.D. Sharma stated that the body has been kept at the Manali morgue, and postmortem will be conducted after the family arrives. The cause of death will be confirmed after the postmortem.
The police are investigating the case, which is currently being treated as a death under suspicious circumstances.
