The State Government’s Biodiversity Park in Bhulah, Janjheli, Emerges as a Popular Tourist Destination
The Biodiversity Park developed by the State Forest Department in Bhulah, Janjheli, has become a popular destination among tourists. Situated near the revered shrine of Devi Maa Shikari, the park is not only renowned for its natural beauty but also stands as a successful example of the state’s eco-tourism policy.
The park features four beautiful tree houses nestled amidst dense deodar forests, offering modern amenities and accommodation for 8 to 10 people. Visitors can enjoy an overnight stay immersed in nature for just ₹1500 per day. The park also hosts nurseries of various local and rare plant species, attracting nature enthusiasts.
According to Range Officer Mahendra Singh, locals as well as tourists from across the country are visiting the park to experience its serene environment. The greenery and tranquility here rival the famous tourist destinations of Kashmir, making Bhulah Biodiversity Park a must-visit spot.
