PM Modi mentioned the country's economic progress, saying that when he took oath as Prime Minister in 2014, India’s economy was ranked 11th in the world. Today, India has reached the fourth position. He proudly said, "We have left behind the country that ruled us for 250 years."We now set our sights on elevating India to the position of the world’s third-largest economy."
The Prime Minister reiterated his resolve to make India a developed nation by 2047. He said, "The country does not want to wait anymore. We will celebrate 100 years of independence in such a way that the flag of a developed India will wave proudly across the world."
